The Civic tower

In Piazza Risorgimento, near the school complex, stands the Civic Tower: what remains of the old fortified rural village where there was probably also a castle. The ogive gateway of the tower led into the residential area. This imposing mediaeval terracotta tower was used as a bell-tower until 1907.
