Parish church of Palazzolo

Today’s Pieve, or old parish church, stands on two previous structures, one perhaps dating back to the 8th and 9th centuries AD and one to the 12th. The current fifteenth century building has three naves with frescoed interiors by Cremona’s Campi and by Pietro Marone. Following construction of the new parish church of Santa Maria Assunta many elements were moved there. The older building was restored and updated and is now the”Auditorium San Fedele”. “
